Tilaye Tsega, a father of six, is the water committee chairperson. He helped to dig the water point. Now that the water is accessible he is able to farm more barley, wheat, oats, and provide better for his family.

Negusu Zewde and his wife Zelekash lost a child to waterborne disease. They live on the hill overlooking the water point near two neighbors who also lost children. Thanks to World Vision, the community is grateful to have clean, clear water nearby. Since the water point was installed, none of his six children have suffered from waterborne diseases.
