JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAME YESTERDAY AND TODAY AND FOREVER. — HEBREWS 13:8
Are you experiencing a lot of change in your life right now? Maybe a career change, a big move, or a child going off to college? Or maybe you aren't facing a huge change but every day seems to hold quite a few variations and challenges.
Change can be very unsettling and downright scary sometimes. Even the small daily changes tend to eat away at us and have us wishing for something predictable! If we aren't grounded in Christ, change can send us tumbling over the edge. Isn't it wonderful that He gives us the assurance that He will never change? He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! Jesus Christ is with you always. He sees all of the unpredictable moments that creep—or slam—into your life. Remember that these moments have passed through His hands before He allows them to greet you.
Change can actually be a good thing! It might not seem like it at the time, but the Lord will work all things together for your good (Romans 8:28) if you love him. You can trust that God has a plan for your life and He will be with you through all of the changes you will face.
LET'S PRAY:
Dear Jesus, help me to trust in You through all of the changes in my life. Thank You for never changing and always being there for me. In Your name. Amen.
