Choosing Wisely

How do you decide whom to partner with in life, work, and ministry? Jesus spent all night in prayer before choosing the twelve whom He trained as apostles. Samuel listened intently to God's direction before anointing the unlikely looking David as the next king. Abraham's servant followed God step-by-step as he evaluated a possible wife for Isaac. Train yourself to see people through God's eyes as you form relationships with them.

An employer who hires a fool or a bystander is like an archer who shoots at random.—Proverbs 26:10 (NLT)

Prayer: Father, I am grateful that You see everyone's heart and that You lead those who look to You for guidance. I am not left to my own devices, or to random decision-making. Help me to see others through Your eyes, so that I can discern how best to serve them or partner with them. I pray in Jesus' name, amen.
