Cruicified... to Live!

I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds (John 12:24).

God wants to bless you even more than you could think to ask. But the fullness of His blessing comes as you fully release your will, your goals, your ambitions, your desires, and your thoughts to Him.

The apostle Paul said, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). Crucifixion is a slow, painful death to yourself as God allows problems and pain into your life to act as the nails that pin you to the cross. These things are often a part of life anyway, but in the life of a child of God, they’re not wasted.

Jesus calls us to deny ourselves, take up His cross, and follow Him. But never forget: after the cross come the resurrection and the glory and the crown.
