We have all probably witnessed some change in our lives, whether in quick, major ways or in small, steady increments. Do not get discouraged if life appears to have changed for the worst! Stay focused; obey God; do not be afraid; and move forward!
“And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.” - Exodus 14:13
“Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.” - II Chronicles 20:17
We must be courageous and bold in our actions towards change. The devil is counting on us to fail and draw back from what the Spirit of God is telling us. But we must keep the faith! It is the trying of our faith and the Word of God being tried in us that will cause us to move forward. Each time we win a battle and use the word of God in the battle, we move forward.
“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.” - Hebrews 10:35-39
In fact, God created us to move forward, so we must not fear and look back to where it was comfortable. Remember, everything you truly want in life is on the other side of your greatest fear. It is courage not caution that leads to great success. So, live the good, fruitful life today. Get in the Word, and enjoy all that God has promised to His children.
