God Works for You

“I don’t know why my dad lost his job.”
“I don’t know why I have ADHD.”
“I don’t know why we had to move again.”
“I don’t know why our house got robbed.”

There’s so much you don’t know. There’s so much adults don’t know either. There is one thing you do know, for absolute certain: “We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God—those whom he has called according to his plan” (Romans 8:28).

You know . . . in all things God cares. He pays attention to every little thing, to every big thing, to every single thing.

You know . . . God works. He is active in your life. He’s not just watching from above; he is busy making things happen.

You know . . . it’s for your good. He uses the happy times and the sad times to help your faith grow.

You know . . . you are called. He chose you, he handpicked you, and he absolutely wants you in his family.

You know . . . he has a plan. He saved you, he brings you closer to Jesus, you live for him, and you bring him glory. You spend forever in heaven with him. That’s the plan.

Even as you wonder about all the things you don’t know, isn’t it awesome to realize just how much you do know?
