Down through history, the truth has been unchanged.
No matter how we struggle, worry, complain or fret, the god of this age blinds the minds of unbelievers.
They just cannot see it.
Their minds play a trick – a fatal trick on them. For to them there is no God – they are not accountable to Him. The gospel is foolishness to them. They stumble in darkness and do not even know it. Deception is their cancer.
The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God… II Corinthians 4:4a
He, the Commander of our soul, is not blind and knows the hearts and minds of unbeliever and believer alike. He is powerful. He is light. The light of the glory of God penetrates the darkness, obliterates it. He speaks and the darkness exists no more. He heals the blind and opens the seeing mind to know Him. The god of this age is powerless in His presence.
The transformation from unbeliever to believer comes from revelation – it is secured by choice. God chose us before the beginning of time – before history took her first step. He already made a way where there was no other way. He wants no one to perish. No not one.
We are powerless to move the unbeliever in His direction. The nature of relationship is personal. The dance of joy starts when the Dancer takes the lead.
God is moving. He is at work in the hearts of men. Let us step aside and let Him work. Let the grace of God’s love cover the sinner and move him move into the right direction. Let the angels sing and rejoice.
Stop your struggle.
Seize your strife.
Let go
God is in control
He who cares for you will do a mighty thing. The God of all comfort will comfort you. He will give you rest. If God is for us then who can be against us?
Down through history, the truth has been unchanged.
God saves.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." II Corinthians 4:15-18
