How Will God Use You?

Our bodies are made of clay, yet we have the treasure of the Good News in them. This shows that the superior power of this treasure belongs to God and doesn’t come from us” (2 Corinthians 4:7).

Jonah did NOT want to love the people God had told him to preach to. So he ran away and had to get swallowed by a giant fish. Then he followed God’s plan.

David had a man killed and then took the man’s wife to his house. Still, the Bible calls him a man after God’s own heart.

Rahab was a sinful woman and had a bad reputation in her town. Yet she helped the Israelites and became a believer. She is actually one of Jesus’ great-great-great-great-great- (you get the idea) grandmothers.

Peter claimed over and over that he loved Jesus best. Just a few hours later, he swore he had never even known him.

Paul, who had previously been called Saul, approved as Stephen was stoned to death for believing in Jesus. Paul ended up becoming one of the greatest missionaries of all time.

What about you? What sin do you struggle with? Still, how has God used you to serve the people in your life?

What’s amazing about God is that he uses all sorts of people from all different backgrounds to share his message with the world. He uses you to share his message. He puts his treasure inside of you, knowing that you are only made of dust, and gives you the privilege of telling the story.
