Why are we talking about Christmas in March? Well, because nine months from today is Christmas Eve. Nine months before Jesus was born, the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary to tell her that she was going to have a baby, not just any baby. Her baby would be the Son of God and the King for forever.
That’s why today is a good day to remember that not only did Jesus come once, but also when the time is right, he is coming again. This time to take you home to heaven.
“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city” (Revelation 22:12-14 NIV).
