Remember that praying for the sick and for those who are hurting is a part of the good news of Jesus. He supplies the power!
Move in love for people... they matter to the Father; they are more than just an opportunity for a sweet story.
Remember to share Jesus.
Ask permission to pray:- If they say "yes"... get to praying soon, keep the conversation focused, keep things flowing naturally

If they say "no"...share a relevant testimony (the more recent, the better), politely ask them why they do not want prayer and deal with the issues in love if possible, sincerely bless them in Jesus' name and let them go (You are not trying to win a prayer badge.)
Interview
- If you don't already know:
- Ask for the person's name
- Ask what is wrong/ what's going on
- Ask how long he or she has been sick/ or when did the accident happen?
Instructions
People will respond to your ministry more favorably if you keep it natural and let them know what to expect:
- Ask if it's okay to put your hand on them. If possible, place your hand where on the part of body that is hurting.

If it's not appropriate to put hand on hurting place, the shoulder is a natural and usually safe place to touch someone.

If they are uncomfortable, let them know it's okay, and that you can still pray. Explain that laying our hands on people is something we do to feel connected to people/ a part of our normal custom.

Let them know you want feedback. Say something like, "As we are praying, you might feel something in your body...". The pain may lesson or it may move.
