The father didn’t scold the son, and he didn’t spank him; he rewarded the boy for coming home! When you who are lost or separated from pure fellowship from the Heavenly Father, and you come Home, God will reward you beyond what you can imagine! Be prepared for great things when you obey God.
I wish I could share with you the smile I think Heaven gets when they write a name in the Book of Life! I think the fact that “angels rejoice” is so paled in our imagination about what really occurs when one sinner repents. I think Heaven comes alive! I think the blessing committee starts to meet, and the trumpet committee starts to play, and the banquet committee sets a new place at the table, and the construction committee goes to work on a new mansion. The naming committee starts to make suggestions for a new name and the reunion committee begins to prepare the welcome home banners! Heaven comes alive!
Dear friend, Heaven will not be complete without you! There is a part of God that He can express only through you! He knitted you together in your mother’s womb just for that reason -- so that He could one day share His glory with you, and so that you could experience all He has for you.
