God showed up at just the right time for a Philippian jailer, who was about to take his life because he feared an earthquake had freed his inmates. Rome punished those who allowed prisoners to escape and, fearing the worst, he was about to kill himself. But Paul announced all the prisoners were present. Struck by such providential life-saving, the jailer gave himself to Christ for an eternal life-saving.
