What are your strengths as a leader? Has God gifted you with a charismatic presence, inspiring words, exceptional physical skills and abilities, or insight into people? How do you keep the right perspective on your gifts so that you don’t fall victim to pride? Remember that God is the One who created you with strengths and gifts to be used to serve others. Discover your strengths; more importantly, get to know the God who made you and humbly use the gifts He gives you for His purposes.
Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence--continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.—Philippians 2:12-13
