Statistics show that the vast majority of men and women will get married at some point in their lives. As the most important earthly relationship we can be part of, marriage should be one of the very highest priorities we have when it comes to relationships. If you're single, the way you pursue relationships now determines the path you take towards marriage in the future. In other words, what you do before the altar determines what you will do after the altar.
Whether you are single or married, realize that marriage is crucial. Because so goes marriages, so goes society. Do you place an importance on supporting marriage according to God's plan and purpose? Do your relationships reflect that reality?
PRAY
Thank God for creating an earthly relationship that mirrors His relationship with us. Pray for the marriages that have an influence in your life. And ask God to use your relationships to reflect His purpose to the world.
ACT
Married couples: write out your vows to one another, and place them in a prominent place in your home. Singles: write a list of the characteristics and qualities you are looking for in a significant other.
