“Thank You”

"Thank you." Two simple words. "Thank you." How frequently do they cross your lips each day? Are you sparing or generous in showing your appreciation to others? Many people feel overlooked and unappreciated. A simple "thank you" can minister God's hope and healing, encourage another person's growth, and ease tense moments. Ask God to prompt you to speak words of appreciation to the people around you. Let Him use you to encourage others.

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.—Romans 15:5-6

Prayer: God, give me Jesus' attitude toward other people. Let me be a grateful person, one who builds others up with my words. Don't let me reserve my thanks for only the big things. Let me say "thank you" freely and frequently. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
