Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results (James 5:16).
Examining our lives for evidence of how we have misused our leadership would be difficult, if not impossible, without God’s forgiveness and cleansing power. This habit of ongoing self-examination can only happen within the context of trusting relationships (with both God and others) that allow us to be completely honest.
