Why Is There Suffering and How Do You Prepare for It?
The Word promises we will suffer, so try to determine how you will respond in advance. As Ray Stedman once said, "Woe to the man who must learn principles in the time of crisis." We should prepare ourselves for suffering; it should not surprise us.
