Your Photo Is on God's Fridge

Throughout the country, every grandma’s refrigerator looks almost identical. It’s filled with an abundance of “Grandma” magnets made by toddlers, photos of grandchildren, and newspaper clippings about her favorite people in the world.

Grandmas are so incredibly proud of their grandchildren and love them so deeply that they love to see their faces and handiwork every single day. Every time they grab some milk, their hearts fill up with a little more love.

In Zephaniah 3:17, you hear that God loves you as much as your grandma loves you—more, actually. “The Lord your God is with you. He is a hero who saves you. He happily rejoices over you, renews you with his love, and celebrates over you with shouts of joy.”

If Jesus hadn’t come for you, God would have had to hate you and your sins. Instead, God sent Jesus as your hero. He loved you enough to come find you and rescue you from Satan’s evil clutches. Now, God knows you, is proud of you, and his heart fills with a little more love every time he sees you. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit do fist bumps because of you.

Whenever you think that maybe God is mad at you, remember what Jesus did for you. Now your photo is hanging on God’s refrigerator.
