You’ve been exploring the Bible for two weeks now. Over the next week, look back at the book of Acts. If you were unable to read everything this past week, use this time to catch up. The book of Acts is important because of its focus on the spread of the Church and the growth of the community of believers. It is the foundation of faith communities today.
Talking to God
Continue to practice prayer. Today, take at least a few minutes to talk to God. During that time, allow yourself to tell him how you’re feeling, what you’re thinking about, what worries you, and what you desire. Get comfortable sharing your heart with God.
To finish the book of Acts, read chapters 24-28. If you’re unable to read all five chapters, then focus your attention on chapter 26.
