Have you considered how to identify who you are in Christ rather than of this world? Should it be our job titles, our degrees or certificates ... or should it be our steward role with Christ?
We must watch our language because subtle differences send totally different messages -- of dependence on man rather than dependence on God.
In organizations that are Spirit-inspired, Spirit-directed and Spirit-fed, God is glorified. Christian leaders must do all that they can to humbly depend upon the power of God to fill the sails of the organization.
Public figures receive both the undue criticism for the failures of their institutions, and the unmerited praise for their successes. The true calling of leadership requires them to accept the former and deflect the latter.
Authentic belief comes from the confidence that your goal isn’t some random, manufactured objective but a credible target based on your ability, your history, your training and — in the case of ministry — your calling.
