Learning and Growing

Acts 18:24-26 Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was a learned man, with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures. He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and he spoke with great fervor and taught about Jesus accurately, though he knew only the baptism of John. He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately.

I believe that we can all improve as people, no matter our age or our position in life. There is no way I know everything I want to know about God and I pray that God would continue to allow me to grow in Him.

Apollos demonstrated a great quality to have on his journey to know Christ—we can continually learn from others because we don’t have all the answers spiritually. And so he went, and learned, from people who were seen as less learned than him. God often uses the unwise in the world as the teachers of His way.
