The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed" (Matthew 8:8).
THINK
The Roman centurion who needed Jesus understood that approaching Jesus took more than humility. He also came to the feet of Jesus with a full understanding of who Jesus was. He knew that Jesus had the ability and the power to heal with just "the word". And he had the trust and faith it took to ask for that help.
When we are faced with difficulties in our lives, one of the biggest keys to experiencing the healing power and potential of Jesus is our faith. We must have the kind of faith that the centurion had. He not only approached Jesus; he had bold faith in Jesus.
Do you approach Jesus' feet with the kind of faith and trust the centurion showed?
PRAY
Ask Him to help you with the kind of faith you need to boldly approach Him and ask for His help in every situation you face.
ACT
Today, write down one thing that God has done to help you in the last 24 hours with what you wrote down yesterday. It could be as simple as His showing you a new perspective. But write it down to show yourself that God is working in your life today.
