Let Go

Hebrews 10:17-18  Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary.

As I get older I realize there are a lot of things I forget, like why I walked into the kitchen, and where I put my glasses. But I remember the pain that people have caused me, the injustices I have felt; these things I don’t need to be reminded of.

God forgets these things; the very things I feel the right to hold on to, He sees as critical to let go of. God chooses to see us through the filter that Jesus has provided; a filter of the mercy, forgiveness, and righteousness that He purchased with His life.
