There are a million little things that can weigh a heart down. But when the desire for perfect lowers herself into His presence, no matter the narrative, it becomes a longing to be good and do good, for the only One who is perfectly good.
What we really long for, in all our frantic running and revolving, is to know God won’t leave us. God is with us. God is for us. God is coming for us, with kindness.
God desires persistence because persistence demands faith. And it is our faith that pleases God.
Though our hearts weigh heavy with burdens to bear, we remember, there’s coming a Day when everything really will be okay. The King is coming!
