Male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number.”

Our families matter to God. He introduced and defined the principle of the family in Genesis 1, and it carries through the entire story of God’s work in the earth. The first family certainly wasn’t perfect, and no family since has been. In fact, the greatest pain in our lives can come from the people who are closest to us. However, your family is important to God, and in the midst of the struggles and challenges your family faces, He will meet you there and give you healing and strength.

PRAYER

Father, I pray that by the Spirit of the Living God You will bring deliverance and healing, restoration and blessing to our families. Thank You that You love me and my family and that You have plans for our good and not our harm. Give us the strength to complete the course You have laid before us. Our hope is in You, Lord, amen.
