God's Got Your Back

"So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless." 1 Corinthians 15:58, NLT

Ever wonder if all your service for the Lord is worth it? Ever feel like quitting? Ever thought your labors for God weren't making a difference? Be encouraged, nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless. God’s got your back!

Your work for the Lord is not in vain. He keeps good records. He’s counting you faithful. Your efforts are making a difference. Whether your role is invisible or extremely public – your labor for the Lord is not in vain. Don’t ever forget, you are working together with God and He is using your labors, your prayers, your speech and your service to fulfill His eternal purposes. You are engaged in kingdom business, divine destiny and things that will matter a billion years from now.

Sometimes, we are not aware of all the ways the Lord is at work behind the scenes, putting pieces of His great puzzle together. While we are staying strong and immovable in our work for the Lord, we are not always aware of the way God is moving pieces and positioning others and us for purposes greater than us. Your labor in the Lord is not futile; it is never wasted!

Today, stay strong. Be firm, steadfast, immovable, enthusiastic, always abounding, superior, excellent and continue to do more than enough in the service of the Lord. You can have confidence and rest assured that God is aware of all of your labors and they are not futile. He has your back!

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose].” (1 Corinthians 15:58, AMP)

Say It: “Father, thank You for the encouragement that You have my back. Thank You that You keep good records and my labor in the Lord is not futile; it is never wasted or useless. I believe my life and work with and for You is making a difference. I commit to stay enthusiastic, strong and immovable in the work of the Lord. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
