In 1993, while I was working as a defensive back for the Indianapolis Colts, my wife Vicki was working as a dietician in a health clinic in downtown Indianapolis. Little did we know that God had set us up! We thought we were going to our respective jobs to fulfill the American Dream.
At my job with the Colts, God placed a linebacker named Steve Grant, who realized God placed Him there as a missionary on the team, to introduce his teammates to Jesus.
At Vicki’s job at the health clinic, God placed an employee there as a missionary named Karen Poenisch, who realized God placed her there to introduce her co-workers to Jesus.
Steve’s life caught my attention. So I listened to him. He earned my trust.
Karen’s life caught Vicki’s attention. So she listened to her. She earned Vicki’s trust.
God used Steve to introduce me to His eternal Son. My life has never been the same.
God used Karen to introduce Vicki to His eternal Son. Her life has never been the same.
God has placed you at your job, school, and neighborhood as a missionary to introduce others to His eternal Son.
This week, let God use your life to introduce someone to His eternal Son.
