What God Saw in Abraham
Look at the descriptions of Sarah and Abraham. She, who was past childbearing age, and he, who was as good as dead – wow. These are the people God chose to give birth to a nation. So as funny as it may seem to us today to think of an 100 year old Abraham and a 90 year old Sarah having a baby, let’s see what God saw.
He wasn’t looking for the most physically fit pair of parents; God was looking for those people who would trust Him, who would move in His will, who would consider Him faithful.
